heatmaster G-100, Pensotti Panel radiators
We purchased a Heatmaster G100 from Karl and had the system retrofitted into our older home. We previously had base board, electric heat and the electric bills were way too expensive. We looked at many other heating options, but decided to go with the efficiency of the gasifier wood boiler system. Having never used any type of wood heat before I was a little leery. Karl and his team installed the system in a timely manner and instructed us on everything we needed to know. They were also very mindful of our home and cleaned up everything before they left. The system is VERY easy to use (basically put wood in twice per day) and our cost to heat our home is almost nothing. Karl has continually checked on our system throughout the years to ensure that we are happy and don’t have any questions. We are very happy with our purchase and the decision to work with Karl and his team. I would highly recommend their company. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

During the spring of 2017 I contacted Karl from Sustainable Heating Solutions about a price quote. From the very beginning it was obvious Karl knew what he was talking about and answered any question I had, and in a way I could understand. In Nov of 2017 Karl installed a G200 after I installed the underground piping to house. Being the boiler was heating my garage, basement, house, and water heater it was a larger job, but Karl worked long hours to get it done, not just M-F, 8-4. The Heatmaster G200 has worked exactly as Karl said it would and I couldn’t be happier.

I met Karl during my search for someone to prepare a design for my wood fired heating system. I knew I needed someone sharp as my needs included domestic hot water, various emitters with different supply requirements, gasification burn as well as significant storage. A value driven design was also a must, along with ease of system operation. Karl’s initial questions indicated a focus on MY expectations and needs and how to cost effectively accomplish them. I immediately knew I found my guy! Three years later we still stay in touch and I’m still a satisfied customer. My suggestion to anyone considering alternate forms of energy would be to do it right the first time, and unless you are some kind of rare person - you will need a knowledgeable and experienced mentor / guide. Do yourself a favor you’ll thank yourself for many years if you give Karl a call. If you feel the need for more info on my experience - drop me an e-mail at (email Hidden).

And if you’re someone with nothing to do but make comments on the wire management and lack of balancing valves in this photo, know that the electrician wasn’t done in this room and we were running the system on temporary power, the in-floor loops do have balancing valves on the manifold below the boiler, and the zone valves go to panel radiators, which don’t need balancing valves.
